Curry Puff

Ingredients

pack frozen puff pastry (2 Sheets)

ground chicken thighs or turkey
¼
cup cilantro, chopped

small potato, diced
½
cup carrot, diced
¼
cup onion, diced
½
cup frozen peas

tbsp fish sauce

tbsp curry powder
1
tsp sugar
1
egg, for wash
salt & pepper to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Defrost puff pastry and cut each sheet into even squares (4 per sheet).

Step 2

Cook all ingredients together; add cilantro and peas at the end of cooking process at to maintain bright flavor and color.

Step 3

Place 1 tbsp of filling into the center of the dough.

Step 4

Brush the perimeter of the dough with egg wash and fold over into a triangle shape.

Step 5

Trim the points both the triangle as to form half circle.

Step 6

Brush the tops of the dough with egg wash.

Step 7

Bake on a parchment paper lined sheet tray at 400 degrees for about 15-20 minutes until the dough rises and turns golden brown.
