Spicy Shrimp Spaghetti
Just because you’re busy doesn’t mean you need to sacrifice the quality of your meals! See for yourself how simple it is to fix up a healthy and hearty lunch using ingredients you’ve got lying around. I almost always have shrimp ready to go in my freezer, so this Thai-inspired spicy shrimp spaghetti didn’t require a trip to the store. Simply create a nice stir-fry starting with the basic aromatics and bind it all together with the oyster sauce and chili oil. The saltiness of the oyster sauce can always be offset by adding a little sugar, and you’ve put together a tasty shrimp spaghetti dish with a spicy kick to help you power through your day!
Cook spaghetti and strain.
In a pan with neutral oil, sweat garlic, ginger, and onions for about 1 minute. Then add shrimp, assorted vegetables, and lightly toss with oyster sauce until shrimp is cooked.
Add cooked spaghetti, sesame oil, chili oil, sugar, scallions, and sesame seeds. Toss with pasta water and allow everything to cook together.
