Wok Fired Water Spinach

A healthy side dish for when you just need some kind of green to go along with your feast! Pak boong fai den or Thai water spinach doesn’t take much time to cook down at all. And it’s flavorful enough that with some garlic and sauces, it can be enjoyed next to an entree or just alone with some rice. Let me know what you think!

Ingredients

Thai water spinach
garlic
Thai chilis
soybean paste (tao chiew)
golden mountain seasoning sauce
white pepper
sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Bloom smashed garlic and chopped Thai chilis with hot oil in a wok.

Step 2

Add water spinach with dashes of soybean paste, golden mountain seasoning, white pepper, and sugar. Toss briefly and serve.
